Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue Service Charity Firewalk

We are delighted to partner with Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service and provide them with a Charity Firewalk on Saturday 20th October 2018. This Fundraising Firewalk will be held at the Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Boatyard, Marsh Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland.

The Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service provides a 24 hour emergency rescue service along the River Boyne. They provide their services 365 days a year and now they need your help.

About The Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service

The Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service is a voluntary marine search and rescue group, based in a purpose built boathouse in Drogheda, Co. Louth, offering a range of skills and equipment to communities throughout the island of Ireland.

Search & recovery services are also provided to people who have lost loved ones through drowning tragedies on the rivers, lakes and sea throughout the Island of Ireland. The Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service aspires to answer any call for help throughout the 32 counties, and where possible, shall persist with the search until the missing person is returned to their family; this aspiration has yet to be broken.

Members of the Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service are highly trained and gain externally accredited qualifications in a range of skills, such as boat handling, first aid, VHF radio operation, navigation, search management and self rescue.

All of this takes a lot of resources and Fundraising Events like this Charity Firewalk can make an enormous difference. Will you join us and help the Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service raise €10,000 or more?
