Do I need many people for a Charity Firewalk?

Asking about the price of a Charity Firewalk is usually accompanied by questions like “is there a minimum number of people for a Charity Firewalk?” And you should be pleased to know that we don’t have a minimum number, nor do we have a maximum number.

The number of people for a Charity Firewalk varies greatly and if you have looked at our prices already, you will know that we charge a set fee for up to 50 people. After 50 people, each additional person is charged on a per head basis. You should have a read at our Charity Firewalk prices for more information.

50 is not the minimum number of people for a Charity Firewalk!

Just because our base fee is for 50 people, it does not mean that you must get 50 people for the Firewalk to go ahead. Indeed, most Charity Firewalks have 25 – 35 people. However, if you are one of those people who likes to break everything down into per head rates, then the cost per head might seem high if you have 25 people as opposed to 50 people.

Do not worry though, even with numbers in and around 25 people, Charities can still potentially raise £4000 – £10,000 or more; and often do. At the end of the day, how much money you make depends on the targets you set for your Firewalkers and how well they reach or exceed those targets.

But of course, Charity Firewalk organisers will still be worried about making sure they cover the costs of the Firewalk and raise money. We worry about that too. It is our aim that every Charity Firewalk raises at least twice as much as it costs to have the Firewalk.

Is there no maximum number of people for a Charity Firewalk?

That’s right, provided you (with our help) can find a suitable venue, there is no maximum number of people for a Charity Firewalk. From our end, we simply bring more resources – Fire Wood, Grass and Staff.

We have often put together events for 150 people. It is worth noting though, getting these numbers or more requires a lot of work from your end. Recruiting people to take part in any Fundraising event takes effort and a robust marketing plan.
